Angie has been working with pets and pet parents since 2002. She holds certifications from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers and Fear Free Pets, and is an approved Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. She has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San Diego State University, a Certificate in Applied Animal Behavior from the University of Washington, and is due to graduate in December, 2025 with a Master’s degree in Conservation Biology from Miami University. Angie was formerly the Behavior and Training Coordinator for the San Diego Humane Society and has been running her private training practice since 2014. Angie enjoys helping pets with shelter-to-home transitioning, parents with kids and dogs, therapy dog training, and working with the community on pet/wildlife coexistence strategies. Angie’s methods are known for being ethical and emotionally considerate to both pets and people.
